The foundation of Inim Electronics

Inim Electronics SRL is established in Italy, launching the SmartLoop and SmartLine fire detection ranges and laying the foundation for the company’s engineering-led approach to fire safety.

2012

Expansion into the UK

Inim Electronics (UK) Ltd is established, bringing Inim technology into the UK and Ireland fire protection markets alongside dedicated R&D and test site development.

2013-2016

Industry recognition and certification

Inim products achieve key approvals including LPCB certification for sensors, interfaces and the PREVIDIA Max control panel range, strengthening credibility within regulated fire safety markets. Systems continue to be stress tested in live UK environments.

2019-2022

Innovating digital fire systems

Development begins on CloudFire, Inim’s remote monitoring platform, followed by the launch of CloudFire and the Inim Fire Apps, enabling real-time monitoring and digital system management.

2023

Integrated fire protection expansion

Inim expands further into the sprinkler and suppression markets, while also investing in new R&D and training facilities in the UK to support industry partners and installers.

2024-present

Next-generation fire intelligence

New technologies including addressable sprinkler monitoring valve and Fire Designer AI software enter the market, helping us deliver even more integrated, digitally connected fire safety systems.
